Online Services By the CT Liquor Control Division
Within the past few months, Connecticut’s Liquor Control Division has updated its online capabilities for its clients. Businesses that have liquor permits can now go online and perform a host of administrative functions that used to be done by regular mail, electronic mail, or faxes. Delays or misplaced requests were common, leading to frustration and angst among the affected parties.
For clubs that would like a waiver of the guest book sign-in requirement, a guest book waiver request can now be submitted through your current e-License credential account.
Want to change your trade name? Using the online process will result in an immediate update to your trade name. Again, you can make this change through your current e-Licensing credential account. Please note that a trade name change is not the same as a backer entity change.
Do you wish to cancel your liquor permit? It is the same process. Please note that once you cancel your permit, it cannot be reversed and you will not receive any refunds for fees already paid. This online option is available only for final permits and cannot be used to cancel provisional permits or withdraw an application.
Liquor Control will no longer accept emails, regular mail, faxes for any of these administrative or regulatory functions.
If you need assistance with any of these functions, please feel free to reach out to us.
